Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a fast growing FMCG marketing company to recruit a Operations Manager for its operations.

Job description
  • The General Manager will be responsible for overall direction, control and management of all activities within the company. He will manage the store managers nationwide; he will deputise and assist the CEO in his duties.
  • He/she is to report to the CEO.
  • The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but not limited to the following:
  • Ensure effective deployment of resources to achieve defined goals and objectives
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the company
  • Design, develop and implement systems and templates that can be used to replicate and drive the growth of the company's business
  • Develop, administer and constantly review operational and administrative policies
  • Ensure compliance with Government Regulatory agencies
  • Develop, build and manage relationship with both internal and external
  • Interface cross-functionally at all levels with the divisions of the company, including communication with external resources and concerns, such as third party providers and government agencies
  • Organize to service each business units while maintaining and improving overall operational and departmental efficiencies
  • Analyze sales reports to identify & actualize cost savings and opportunities for the business
  • Coordinate general feedback to customers and sales team on the status of the business
  • Responsible for enhancing the reputation and relationship of the company with key customers and accounts

Qualifications and Experience
  • Must have 5-8 years experience, a minimum of 2 years in FMCG
  • Must have proven excellent logistics and project management skills.
  • Excellent financial, budget and sales management skills
  • Must have excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Must be able to design competitive and cost effective logistics and distribution strategies to achieve desired results.
  • Must have good critical analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Must be adaptable to establish themselves within a new and challenging environment
  • Strong communication, creative and innovative skills.
  • Should have good negotiation skills and able to deal with customers’ issues and complaints in an appropriate and timely manner
  • An MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
